Diversified Stage has spent roughly twenty-five years doing work most production companies in Northern California can only describe. This proposal lays out how Bonsai Marketing turns that record into search visibility, AI visibility, and qualified production inquiries, in three tiers you can start at and grow through.
The gap is translation. Buyers, Google and AI assistants can only recognize what has been published in a form they can read, and almost none of your record is in that form yet.
What already exists. Diversified Stage provided production services for:
Plus thirty more documented productions, a mobile Live Production Suite trailer (camera switching, engineering, screen management, playback, records and intercom), an IATSE Local 16 employer relationship, and a history that runs back to Diversified Solutions in 2001.
What the internet currently sees.
Indigo Live has 119 venue pages and zero case studies. Diversified Stage has the inverse. Case studies are the harder asset to fake. We'd be building on the part competitors can't copy.
The Foundation Assessment scored the digital foundation at 33 out of 100, with a realistic path to roughly 78 within twelve months. That path is unusually attainable here, because the two most expensive pieces, a sound site architecture and real-world credibility, are already in place. This is not a website rebuild. Your server-rendered site and its rental, service and event URLs are structured correctly. The work is depth, markup, proof and distribution.
Right now the site reads as a staging and rental house. The positioning we build is broader and true: a full-service event production and technical production company, with each discipline standing as its own searchable cluster underneath it.
| Cluster | Where it lives today | Demand signal |
|---|---|---|
| Staging | /rentals/staging/ · 316–345 words, like all nine rental pages | "stage rental" 4,400/mo · "portable stage rental" 720 · "mobile stage rental" 590 |
| Video & LED walls | /rentals/video/ | "led screen rental" 1,600/mo · "led wall rental" 880 · "led video wall rental" 480 |
| Lighting | /rentals/lighting/ | "stage lighting rental" 880/mo · "event lighting rental" 480, difficulty 8 (easy) |
| Audio | /rentals/audio/ | "av rental near me" 720/mo, difficulty 8 (easy) |
| Rigging | /rentals/rigging/ · already carries 12 ranking terms | Proof the architecture can rank; concert and festival rigging terms |
| Power & networking | /rentals/distro/ · /rentals/networking/ | Festival and outdoor event buyers; supports every production case study |
| Scenery, FX & fabrication | /rentals/scenery/ · /rentals/fx/ | "scenic rentals" already ranks #18; fabrication scope confirm at kickoff |
| Event production | Six event pages, 89–133 words each | "live event production company" 590/mo · "audio visual production company" 480 at $14/click |
| Technical direction & production management | No page | What festival and agency buyers actually hire; carries the SF Pride story |
| Live streaming & hybrid | No page, despite owning the trailer | "livestream production company" 170/mo at $9/click |
| Installation & integration | /services/install/ · 191 words | Venues, theaters, universities; the SSU outdoor lighting install is the proof |
| Repair & motor service | /services/repair-service/ · /services/motor-service/ | A real differentiator: few regional competitors service chain motors |
| Equipment sales | /services/sales/ · 124 words | Venue and install buyers already evaluating gear |
| Crew & staffing | /services/staffing-payroll/ | Production companies needing a technical partner and IATSE labor |
| Equipment rental (hub) | /rentals/ · 266 words | "audio visual rental near me" 720/mo · "lights for rent" 880 |
One counterintuitive finding shapes the whole geography plan. Hyper-local AV phrases carry almost no search volume: "audio visual company santa rosa" and "av rental bay area" both register zero a month. The demand sits in category terms like stage rental, LED screen rental and event lighting. So geography is built as proof layered onto strong category pages, never as a grid of thin city pages.
Ranked by commercial opportunity: search demand, click value, and how much of your portfolio already speaks to each buyer. We'll pressure-test this order against your revenue mix at kickoff.
Every show you run becomes a permanent acquisition asset. One production produces one page, and that page feeds authority into the venue, the city, the event type, the services and the gear it touched.
Today: a paragraph on /work/ that links back to itself.
/work/sf-pride-2026/Today: the only non-branded #1 ranking you hold, for an eight-word phrase nobody searches.
/work/green-music-center-4th-of-july/A venue or city page gets built only where Diversified Stage has actually worked, and it is written from that job, not from a scraped capacity table. That rules out programmatic city-page spam. It also creates the one thing Indigo Live's 119 venue pages can't show: proof you were there.
Your 2017 portfolio pages (among them Mariah Carey in Hawaii, Dolly Parton in Sonoma, a BottleRock stage, and the Lexus Grand Tasting at Pebble Beach Food & Wine) are still in Google's index, but every one of those URLs now returns a copy of the homepage. We recover the ones you can document and redirect the rest, so the history counts again.
Every program runs the same growth engines. The tier decides how hard each one runs, meaning how fast and how aggressively we push every campaign. Each tier includes everything in the one before it, and you can move up whenever the calendar calls for it.

Make Diversified Stage legible to buyers, Google and AI, stop the inquiries that leak today, and keep every engine running at a steady pace.
What it moves: crawlability, entity clarity and a measurement baseline in month one, then the rental pages start competing for the highest-volume terms in your category. Target: 25 Google reviews within 90 days.
Put the portfolio to work generating demand, and double the pace on every engine.
Recommended starting pointWhy we recommend it: this is the level where the portfolio starts working. Roots makes the company readable. Canopy publishes the forty-two productions, and every one after them, at a pace that moves the market. It covers the full roadmap behind the assessment's twelve-month path from 33 to about 78.
Every engine at maximum pace, plus paid demand capture and automated lead handling, so growth is measured in booked productions.
When it makes sense: when you want to own the category this season rather than grow into it. Ad spend is paid directly to Google and is not included in the program fee.
| Program | Setup | Monthly program |
|---|---|---|
| Bonsai Roots | $6,500 | $2,500/mo |
| Bonsai Canopy Recommended | $12,000 | $5,000/mo |
| Bonsai Redwood | $20,000 | $7,500/mo |
Monthly programs are billed monthly. Paid media spend (Redwood) is paid directly to the ad platform and is not included. Final terms are set out in the partnership agreement.
Shown at the Canopy scope. Roots follows the same order with a narrower second and third phase.
Canonical entity record, markup sitewide, robots.txt and sitemap, meta descriptions, the contact-page and phone fixes, a qualifying quote form, conversion tracking, Google profile clean-up, and the review engine live at the next load-out.
Expect: little ranking movement yet. Leaking inquiries stop, and a real baseline exists.
The nine rental pages rebuilt with real inventory, specs and photography. The first 10–15 case studies live and linked into them. Directory claims completed. Proof layer on the site.
Expect: first non-branded impressions in Search Console, movement on long-tail rental terms.
The remaining case studies, the streaming and technical-direction pages, YouTube launch, the first venue pages from real jobs, and authority outreach to existing relationships.
Expect: 40+ production pages indexed, Google reviews at 25+, and the first appearances in AI answers.
Short list. Most of it is access. The one real ask is the inventory, which is what makes your pages impossible for a template site to copy.
By planners, by Google, and by the AI assistants buyers now ask first. Diversified Stage has already done the work that earns that understanding. Our job is to make sure it gets seen.
